The word Rune means ‘secret’ or ‘whisper’ and although they started life as an ancient alphabet, Runes are now used as a tool for insight, guidance and self-discovery. They’re not a form of fortune telling and rather than predicting the future, a Rune reading will help you understand your current situation more clearly, uncovering what’s really going on beneath the surface so that you can make better choices and move forward with confidence and clarity.
You may have a specific question in mind but the Runes will reveal what needs your attention most at that time – and more often than not, once you’ve worked through that, the answer to your original question will become much clearer too.
The biggest blocks are usually the ones we don’t even realise we’re carrying. Together we’ll uncover these issues, make sense of them, and find the best course of action. The Runes don’t give you the answers – they offer advice and guidance, helping you see what needs to change so you can find your own way forward. The best gift is not to have someone else solve your problems, it’s leaning how to solve them yourself.
My rune readings get to the heart of the matter, sometimes telling you things that may come as a surprise. The good thing about that is, once your fears are faced, they no longer pose a threat and it’s a great way to realise what work you need to do for yourself to find your best life and create your inner peace. I know that my clients place a high value on this approach and that their lives have benefited tremendously.
Norse mythology is a fantastic read – if you’re a fan of Lord of the Rings, you will know that Gandalf is based on Odin (the Allfather), Midgard (Middle Earth) is a place where man resides in one of the nine worlds in the tree Yggdrasil, along with Gods, Dwarves, and Giants in their own respective worlds.
Odin was originally a god of death or the dead but later came to be a god of wisdom and magic. Odin relentlessly seeks knowledge and he willingly gave an eye as the price to drink from the Well of Mimir (an unequalled source of wisdom). He later hung upside down from the great tree Yggdrasil for nine days and nine nights waiting for the Runes to reveal themselves to him. The stories about Thor and Loki – and, indeed, the others are well worth looking into, even if just to pass the time – you’ll be hooked though, I warn you.
It’s not confirmed how old the runes are, but Tacitus, a Roman historian and politician did write about the divinatory practices of the Germanic people in the 1st Century C.E. Germanic tribes lived throughout England, Scotland and Northern Europe. In 2020 a stone was uncovered in Sweden called the Kylver Stone which dates from about 400 C.E. The Elder Futhark is the alphabet most used for divination and magic currently, although the Vikings, who were around between approximately 700 – 1100 C.E. were known to use the Younger Futhark which reduced in size from the Elder from 24 to 16 runes.

I work at various spiritual events around Kent and the UK, I also work online or I can come to you. If you’re local there’s no charge for travelling but if you’re a bit further afield I will add a small amount for fuel.

A yearly forecast – two runes pulled for each month, a view of what the next 12 months may hold for you if you remain on the path you’re on. £70
Thor’s Hammer Spread – 9 runes shedding light on the issue, the main obstacle to the solution, the solution, your future if you act now etc. £70
Chakra Readings – for when you just don’t know which way to turn. Three runes are pulled relating to each chakra (the crown, the third eye, throat etc.) £70
